/ October 11, 2011Im not a driver but posting this comment for a driver…I went in for a DOT Physical, the doctor looked at me and said I have Sleep apnea just because I have a big neck..He only gave me a 3 month card and told me I have to have a sleep study done at my expense, I had one done and I am on a cpap. I can’t sleep good, I wear it about 4 hours a night, I wake up with a extreme headache and I am more tired now than I have ever been. The quack that did my DOT physical is not even listening to my regular doctor who I see on a regular basis and have been for quite sometime. My regular doctor suggests that I lose more weight and then be re-tested, the quack isn’t even wanting to discuss this matter, he’d dead set on me wearing the cpap machine. I have been driving a truck for a total of 5-6 years now and never had any problems until this quack had me put on this machine. Are there any other drivers who are having this problem or going through anything like this? Please let me know, thank you.

UPDATED AND I GOTTA SAY HE IS THE BEST, HE MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE , AND TALKED TO ME LIKE A PERSON NOT LIKE HOW SOME DOCTORS WILL TALK TO YA. HE HAS ALOT OF INFO FOR US DRIVERS THAT ARE BIGGER IN THE MIDDLE, SO HECK YEA LOOK HIM UP . THANK YOU VERY MUCH DOC…
